DeWalt is good on their warranties too. I didn't have a receipt or anything, but they blessed me with a freshie when my battery took a dump. always contact them online via chat, the phone warranty people won't help you.

My company was all Milwaukee and changed to dewalt. Both have their pros and cons. The hammer drill he used with chuck is wonderful. The Milwaukee m12 sds is light and small. That sawzall is bulky, overheats and heavy. The good thing about it is the 90 angle chuck. Red auto cutters are superior, yellow pvc cutter cuts 💯 better. That’s a long way of saying I hate and love both

yup, i’ve made that mistake cutting an old cast iron pipe with a chain cutter, ended up cracking the pipe for 10’. old pipe is very brittle, having the right tools with you all the time is absolutely crucial, not back at the shop, not at home, gotta have them with you at all times otherwise you’ll be running back and forth like a monkey on crack 🤣
