Marks Of The Maker: Lesson 011 Who Is Photography Really For? Photography is one of the few acts we still pretend is neutral.
We call it observation. Documentation. “Just looking.” 
But every photograph is a decision layered on top of power, and pretending otherwise only makes the consequences harder to see. This lesson is about refusing the comfort of a single answer. Every image has multiple audiences, whether we acknowledge them or not:
The subject inside the frame
The viewer who encounters it later,
The maker whose assumptions, needs, and taste shape the moment long before the shutter clicks. When we decide photography is only for one of them, we stop asking the question that actually matters. And once that happens, the camera doesn’t become neutral, it becomes careless. Lesson 011 isn’t about landing on the “correct” position.
It’s about learning to hold tension without resolving it.
