Adam always gave me neurodivergent/aspergers vibes (I say this with all the love as someone with family members on the spectrum) because he’s socially awkward, hyper focused, routine, etc. and I feel like Tom nailed it tbh. As a longtime Tom Bateman lover, I was never concerned about his casting.

yess I commented on someone's post that the book is from olives pov and so we see him through her rose colored glasses but we can gather from the people around her that he is weird and hot but still not normal 😂 even his BFF is like, please be patient olive he's trying so hard to be normal for you 😂😂

Agreeed! 💕 As soon as they revealed the cast, I had absolutely zero doubt abt Lili Reinhart as Olive, I knew she’d eat that up 👏 Tom, I had never seen in anything before but his portrayal of Adam in the trailer is promising with that aloof/awkward vibe 🤓😂
