@momma.nurse7: I’ve worked hard my entire adult life. And I don’t want to get to retirement someday and realize I spent all those years taking care of everybody else… but never built enough options for myself. I want to retire when I’m ready. I want money put back. I want to travel and see my kids. I want to enjoy my home, my family and the life we worked so hard to build. I want an unexpected expense to be an inconvenience — not something that changes everything. And if I decide I want to keep working because I still love nursing? I can. THAT is what I want. Options. So instead of waiting until I’m closer to retirement to start worrying about it, I started building something alongside my nursing career now. An online business I knew absolutely nothing about when I started. I learned. I followed the people who had already done it. And I kept showing up. I’m not building this because I hate the life I have.
