The Va told my dad he had black lung the black lung doctors said he had agent Orange. He never got either even though one of his lungs was completely covered. He went to his heavenly home in 2021

Most of these guys end up passing away before they receive the benefits. Money that would cover the cost of living & help ease their's & the family's minds.

Yeah they tried to implement stricter safety regulations, but the big energy corporations that bought up all the mines didn’t want to do that. They all pivoted to natural gas because of higher profit margins and just left the region, and we got stuck with the health and environmental impacts. But a lot of you don’t want to have that conversation
