A person can arrive with savings, own a legitimate business, work, invest, earn money, or simply enjoy the results of years of hard work. Being successful is not evidence of being a criminal. If a Nigerian commits a crime, investigate that Nigerian and let the law take its course. If a South African commits a crime, the same law should apply. Even Stats SA's own victim-of-crime data document substantial crime affecting South African households and individuals generally. Crime has no nationality. Criminals do. So let's stop turning individual criminal cases into accusations against an entire nationality.
