I really like isekai but I can't stand fanservice so it gets a bit hard fining one for my picky tastes. I also prefer the ones with a female lead which just makes it even harder to find one without excessive fanservice.

they should call it isekai soup instead of slop. the word slop implies that it is bad overall but most are actually just soupy

I actually respect isakai slop people. because more often than not. when you find one they are a grizzled vet. they have been watching anime for like 10-15 years. likely more and they're like I know what I like and this is what I like. they've seen it all. they've just realized that this tastes better

my favorite type of issekai are the ones where the Mc uses their niche interest and modern knowledge to aid them in living out a chill life. It's like Cup ramen for me- junk food, but cozy.
