Maybe this is just me but it seems like work should be considered relevant to your experience. Because I think most would agree that completing college while also working speaks more highly to your work ethic and academic ability than completing college while not having to work. Given that work typically takes up a substantial amount of a person’s time.

Can you talk about how to tactfully “cold” email potential advisors asking if they are taking PhD students if the program website does not explicitly list who’s taking students? Alternatively if they are listed as taking students how to introduce yourself via email?

I know you’ve made a video about how research classes don’t count as research when it comes to a PHD but what if you become a coauthor and present a poster with a masters student because of the class (for more context this class you have to be interviewed by a professor doing research to get into the class and there’s only four of us with two grad students)?

what about if you did duel credit in high school with a college? should you list those as well. for example i did two different colleges for duel credit at my high school, but the college i go to are not those colleges.
