Fancy TikTok‘s almost made me go with sand!! I’ve had mulch in there since March and haven’t had to do anything at all, except for add more mulch like 3 times.

I did this with my old coop for a year, moved and have to redo it all over again. 😂 Not too hard, though I use leaves in the fall for mulch, no smell. It is awesome that you found this method for your coop! Keep it up! Woo!

We do mulch in the run. It’s so easy. When I clean my coop, I occasionally walk through the run with a rake and turn over the poopy areas. It never smells, I never scoop it out. I just add more mulch in spots that get bare
