Body alive was the worst place I’ve ever worked. I worked there when it was just in cinci. I loved it when I was just a member.

hey frienddd!! as someone going through training right now i’m a bit confused. the camera recording of class is just for out of state trainees to be able to see what a body alive class looks like if they haven’t had the opportunity to take one in person:) after your first video submission you’re paired one on one with a lead trainer to help you grow & support you! they walk through your format song by song in tons of detail and are availability for support 24/7. i’ve had the most educational and amazing experience training!! hope this clears the process up for you!

I did one of their “certification” classes a while ago in their Oakley studio and it was just odd after being a member for months. They aren’t actually training these instructors with proper body mechanics and modifications. I had friends who were in training with them officially. They talked about other students in front of me in a negative light (gender, sexuality, body weight especially, etc). I worry what they said after I left. I was a member at the studio!! I am also concerned about how many locations are opening so quickly without having enough qualified staff to teach them.

I went to a BA yoga class once and legitimately thought “ this girl is going to hurt someone “. I was amazed at how bad it was. Not to mention- doing yoga to loud, fast music is NOT the vibe. Trash!

An instructor training is 200 hours minimum for yoga and Pilates is like honestly endless

As someone who has gone through the training and has worked for the company for almost 2 years, I have had nothing but great experiences with the company and their training process. I learned so much with the trainers so it just doesn’t sound like you went through enough of the training to get the full experience. I’m upset that Body Alive is receiving this slander☹️

Highly highly highly HIGHLY recommend going to The Track. The community, the musicality, the way it doesn’t feel fake, I feel so accepted and I’m like the only guy who goes there consistently. Please come! Tuesday’s at 7pm are a fun class ;)
