My father was dying while I was in a firefight came back doing a AAR and then got the call from my mom telling me she needs to speak to me it’s important then we got hit with some missiles and a few suicide bombers got saved by my medic bc he saw the sniper that was taking a shot at me by the gift of god he saw a glint and he grabbed me as I leaned I heard 1 round go over my head and then a few more 2 mass casualties happened even tho I’m not a medic was trained in between the incoming and mascal I found out he was dying then got called to work on dudes that got hit with 2 broken fingers bc of the firefight hurt myself and then after get back on the call the docs tried to keep him alive until I was able to helo out but everything was grounded for a day and a half bc we were so forward to risky but my dad decided to leave this world and be with god.. managed to fly out but missed everything didn’t even see his body bc he was buried in Europe bc he immigrated from Montenegro during the war so he wanted to be buried there and didn’t get to see him or the funeral or burial one day I will see his grave haven’t been able to
