Universities are for people who are able to afford it. It’s a luxury. Community college needs to be more normalized for regular people, it doesn’t mean you’re poor. People truly only go to these big and expensive universities for the status or aesthetic. Like if you can afford it without going into so much debt, then go, but if not, that’s okay too, community college is the way to go. It’s more embarrassing when everyone knows you’re in hundreds of thousands of debt that you’ll spend half your life paying off than to go to a community college. Trust me.

I’ve heard that starting at community college and then transferring to a university is equivalent to doing four years at university and that it saves you so much money for getting the same amount of credits. I’m currently in cc, doing two years, and then transferring to a university!!

college is a scam, you will probably be on minimum wage after you graduate, ai will take your jobs, but having a trade, ai can't take, electricians, plumbers, construction, ect. these will always be needed.

Honestly have the goal to graduate debt free especially if you don’t come from a family that has lots of money. Community college is so much cheaper and saves a lot of stress. The only reason why I go to uni is because is starbucks and there ASU program + FASFA
