@abbyeckel: Yes, I do this every day. But why? Because I’m teaching my son care skills. This is his baby doll. It’s teaching him the same care skills I learned as a girl growing up caring for my water baby. These are important skills for boys in particular to learn to help them understand they can be just as important caregivers to children as mothers (should they have kids). And he LOVES this thing. He rubs his nose against baby yoda nose. He feeds him, he’s learned to swaddle him, he puts him down for a nap, he has a carried along he wears him in. I will do this for as long as my son requests it because the learnings from this care work are so important for young boys. #parenting #raisingboys #boymom #momlife
