My mom and her boyfriend are 89 and they are super busy . Their life is just as full as it was when they were young , it just takes them a little longer with a few more breaks . They continue to make future plans as if they will go on indefinitely. Still live independently, involved in their community , pursuing their hobbies and interests . And they laugh. A lot . They’ve both had hardships and heartaches but they are enjoying life now.

My MIL is in her 70s and she is absolutely thriving! She travels to multiple countries to teach at pysanky conventions, has published books on how to do it and is always learning new hobbies because she wants stuff to do.
