@explaining.quran: 4.9 Billion Angels Will Pull Jahannam Imagine the terrifying scene of the Day of Judgment, when Jahannam is brought forth before all of creation. Allah ﷻ says: «وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ “And Hell will be brought forth on that Day.” - Surah Al-Fajr 89:23 The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Jahannam will be brought on that Day with 70,000 bridles, and with every bridle will be 70,000 angels pulling it.” - Sahih Muslim 2842 That means 70,000 × 70,000 = 4.9 billion angels pulling Jahannam. This is not a story or a metaphor. The Day of Judgment is real. Jahannam is real. And one day, every one of us will stand before Allah ﷻ and answer for our deeds. So do not let this life distract you from the Hereafter. Repent while you still can. Establish your prayers. Leave your sins. Turn back to Allah ﷻ before the day comes when there is no more opportunity to return. May Allah ﷻ forgive our sins, accept our repentance, protect us from Jahannam, make our حساب easy, and grant us Jannatul-Firdaws without punishment. اللهم آمين 🤲
