I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer almost 2 months ago. They want to remove my whole thyroid and do a neck dissection. I’m really worried about my scar because I’m highly allergic to adhesive and I can’t use scar tape or surgical tape or any of that.

Hey girl! I also had surgery. The proliferation stage is month 3-6months and that’s when it gets darker. But don’t let that discourage you! It will pass too. I’m in that’s stage and just trusting the process

It does look good. My doctor told me to eat as much protein as I could to help mine heal better. I have to point it out to people.

I have 2 scars one on thyroid the other lymph node removal ,8 days ago dressing is off just fresh air and healing now
