They are ABSOLUTELY feeding it. That’s why they think they have some kind of “special relationship” with it which is why they don’t want that particular animal removed. They think because they gave the animal food that now the animal “likes” them. When in reality, an alligator would take food from literally anyone. They think the animal “likes” them because when they come near, the animal shows up. They create a narrative in their head of “oh the alligator recognizes me, so they must love me” when in reality the alligator sees them and thinks “that human is going to feed me, that human is an idiot, I’m going to take their food”😂. That’s why humans love having pets! It’s the same exact thing! Humans love being loved and feeling important. The problem is when their delusional fantasies of a wild animal “loving them” puts other people in danger. They should absolutely get that animal out of there and, more importantly, get those people out of there. They are not responsible enough to live near wild animals.
