The problem is not Lindsay Clancy herself the problem here are the women coming out in droves saying she is innocent and shouldn’t have to bear any sort of accountability for unaliving her kids because she was in post-partum therefore didn’t have any control of her actions. That rhetoric is dangerous because it removes accountability from the equation and if you can’t be accountable for your actions because of your hormones then you can’t be trusted with anything. When Chris Watts anahilated his family men didn’t rally around him demanding “Justice for Chris” nor did they made goFund Me raised a million dollars on behalf of his family to fund his defense. The sociology behind both of these cases is extremely different Chris Watts is universally hated while Lindsay Clancy is seen as a martyr who shouldn’t be responsible for anything

thats not true though, she never pled guilty. even the judge said it in closing while addressing the jury. ""the defendant has denied that shes guilty of the crimes charged in these indictment.. the law presumes the defandent to be innocent of the charges against her. this presumption of innocence is a rule of law that compels you to find the defandent not guilty unless and until the commonwealth produces evidence from whatever source that proves that the defendant is guilty beyond reasonable doubt..""
