@kenidra4humanity: I’m saying this as someone who used to avoid the hard conversations. Avoiding didn’t make them go away, they still found a way back to me. Sitting in that discomfort has been the most humbling and where I’ve found growth and discovery. I don’t want to make people feel like they are walking on eggshells and to be frank, I don’t want to feel that way either. It’s no fun for anyone. I feel youuuu. I find it so hard to have friendships as an adult. Nobody wants to have these conversations. How can I not tell a person who is supposed to love me as much as I love them, that they hurt my feelings? Etc.? I truly feel like when I’ve had these types of conversations, they just distance and disconnect. I can not do shallow friendships and ppl unwilling to grow and evolve.
