I was body shame by my foster mom & didn't realize it was called or considered body shaming. I remember not being allowed to go swimming if my foster Mother wasn't there but everyone else was allowed to go swimming that lived in my foster home. I think that was because she didn't want me to put on a bathing suit & I will explain why. I remember us going on a family trip & all the girls in the house including myself got pretty bathing suits. I got a one-piece bathing suit & my foster mom got all the other girls two-piece bathing suits. that didn't bother me one bit. I remember her going to buy us these really pretty wraps to tie around our waist to cover ourselves when we're not swimming. she bought me one and I tied it around my waist, she saw it & yelled at me in front of everyone. She snatched it off of me and said I was tying it too tight. she snatched it off of me in front of everyone & re did it 3 times but it still didn't look the way the other girls looked so she went to Foot Locker & bought me a man's T-shirt to cover up with. She told me whenever I go swimming that is what I am to wear and I cannot take it off not even in the water. when I got older, she told me I was not allowed to wear pants that didn't have pockets on the back because she said that would draw men eyes to my back side. i was 16 at the time. when I wore packets on the back, if they, (the pockets), were considered too small for her liking, she'd say the same thing. she told me I wasn't allowed to wear pants that have writing on the butt because that draws attention. so I got sweatpants we wore in the late 90s early 2000s with writing down the side of my leg and she said that caused to much attention. she would purposely buy my clothes too big and I mean way too big so that my shape didn't show and she told me I was too big to wear a lot of the things the other girls that were smaller than you were wearing. I was only anywhere from 122 lb to 125 lb and I was about 4 ft 11 and 1/2, a DDD cup. I am now in my 40s and maybe when I was in my late 30s I still believed I was fat until one of my friends from school told me I was never fat. I just had hips butt & boobs to be so little.

Jeanette McCurdy is what comes to my mind. She even talks about it because of how much food she had to eat on screen they also were like you can’t gain weight so it just caused a huge eating disorder for her.

when my first time would buy me bras, they would always leave marks on my shoulders, on my back, and around my boobs. I remember showing her right away how I was bleeding and I had these terrible marks from the bras. she told me they were because I was drying them in the dryer. I told her it was a brand new bra and I had not even washed it yet it was my first day ever wearing it. I took myself to Victoria's Secret and got measured. she was buying me C cup bras. but then about sizes at that time. I do know I was wearing a C cup when I was about 12 or 13 but at this point I am 16. when I went to Victoria's Secret and the girls measured me, the three girls were in tears when I told them my foster mom bought me that bra and she told me that this was the correct size. when the girls measured me I was a triple D on one side and a half size bigger on the other side. they didn't have my size of course because I was about a 30 triple D. they sent me to a store called Frederick's of Hollywood where they had odd size bras. when I got home and I showed my foster mind my new bras and told her and her daughter what they said, these grown ass women told me these ladies didn't know what the hell they were talking about and I wasn't going to wear a bra that big and that there was no way I was bigger than them. oh I got more stories I'm going to leave another comment.

First of all, I definitely grew up watching Kim Rhodes on the Sweete life and supernatural she is definitely the virtual mom of my generation or maybe even a little later like I’m kind of much older millennial, but I definitely feel the mother instinct in her.
