If I had to choose one, I would choose family because they are my foundation. They are the source of my character, my values, my patience, and my sense of duty. Without their love, support, and understanding especially through the long hours, the risks, and the sacrifices and rsponsibilities that comes with police work I would not have the stability, the emotional strength, or the moral compass to serve the public with honestly and integrity. A police officer who neglects their own family can hardly be expected to care for and protect the community like a true guardian. At the same time, choosing family does not mean abandoning service. In fact, it is exactly because I value my family that I am driven to serve. I want to build a safe, peaceful society not just for my own loved ones, but for every family in our community. My family is my 'why': they inspire me to uphold the law fairly, to protect the vulnerable, and to do this job with integrity every single day. I will always fulfill my sworn duty to serve and protect to the best of my ability, but my family will always remain the heart and purpose behind that service. For me, family is the root, and service is what I grow to give back. An always remember you cannot have one fully without the other.

UNBOTHERED 👸 :
If I were answering, I would choose service because joining the PNP means accepting a responsibility to serve and protect the community. But I will always value my family and make sure that my duties and responsibilities to them are handled properly. I believe being a good police officer also means being responsible and disciplined in both my personal and professional life. Why not family? I choose service in the context of the question because I understand that police work requires commitment and sacrifice. It doesn’t mean that I love my family less. My family is actually one of my motivations to become a responsible and dedicated police officer.

I would choose service. Not because family doesn’t matter to me, but because I’ve learned that not every family will treat you the way you deserve. Sometimes, people who are supposed to make you feel valued will only treat you better when you have something to offer when you’re successful, when you can provide, or when you can be useful to them. Service for me is different. It teaches me to give without expecting anything in return. It gives me a chance to help people, to be useful, and to make someone’s life a little better. Hindi ko man naranasan na palaging tratuhin nang tama, I can still choose to treat others with kindness, respect, and humanity. At the end of the day, I’d rather be remembered as someone who served with a sincere heart than someone who was only valued because of what I had. Because sometimes, you don’t find your worth in the people who failed to value you, you find it in the lives you were able to touch through service. This is Leila Jaani and I thankyou

If only i could turn back time, i’d choose my family over the service, now being here for over 11 years, i slowly lost the pillars of out family, sacrifices were not worth it after all.

I would choose service, because serving and protecting others is a responsibility that requires discipline, commitment, and self-sacrifice. From a psychological perspective, having a strong sense of purpose and responsibility can strengthen resilience and motivation. However, choosing service does not mean neglecting my family. I believe I can fulfill my duty while maintaining healthy family relationships, because both personal support and professional purpose contribute to long-term psychological well-being.

I choose service for my family because my service exists to protect, provide for, and honor them. They are my why, and service is my how. I don’t have to choose between them one is the heart, the other is the hands.

I choose service because becoming a police officer means accepting the responsibility to serve and protect the community. However, my commitment to service does not mean I love my family less. Rather, my family is one of my greatest sources of strength and inspiration to serve with integrity and dedication 😊🥰

In neuropsychological test. It’s not about what your answer is, it’s about how you answer. Pwede e eme eme mo yung for the country before conflicting naman doon sa domains or facets sa mga neuropsych tests na tinake mo, that still brings a question. Wag eme eme.

I will choose my family every single time. A job can replace you the moment you’re gone, but your family will stay even when you have nothing left to give. Careers can be rebuilt, money can be earned again, and opportunities can come and go but you only have one family. At the end of the day, when the job is gone and the world turns its back on you, your family is the one place you can still call home. I’d rather lose a job than lose the people who would never lose me.
