@mothershipsg: A 32-year-old Indonesian man was found with a knife concealed inside his sock in his high-cut shoe at Changi Airport Terminal 4 on Aug. 27. The knife measured 19.5cm in length with a 12cm blade, and was wrapped in layers of plastic bags and sealed with tape. After the man removed his shoes for security screening, an officer saw a suspicious sharp object in the right shoe. Later in a search room, a knife together with a sheath was found concealed in his shoe. He will be charged in court on Aug. 29 with the offence of carrying an offensive weapon in a public place.
