SA is a HUGE problem i noticed among my trans peers, specifically from the ages of 15 to early twenties. its genuinely disturbing and I'm very grateful i have finished dating because the amount of people ive met who are trans and did that crime is absolutely awful. I wish there was more room to talk about it but transphobes will absolutely use our stories to push their narrative :/

When I was like 13 some 15 year old trans guy tried to coerce me into bean diddling with him on Skype. He actually got the opposite reaction & I never diddled bean boy until I was 19. He got blocked.

I’m a lesbian, and I got a few lesbians friends who have been SA by a trans person. Whenever they speak up about it people are always upset, they want them to be silent. I got kicked out of groups bc of it

ur trauma is important and real. im also trans and have been chased and harassed by other trans people and i would never invalidate that experience. unfortunately the video you put up was does not make it clear to someone who isn’t meaningful engaged that your intention is not simply transphobic. it can be harmful and can promote transphobia and hate. making the issue of rape culture about trans culture instead of acknowledging it as trans people who participate in rape culture is a incredibly dangerous assertion. i’m so sorry that this happened to you and you should be angry and you should talk about it I just think you should shift the focus and the narrative towards the fact that trans people can and do participate in rape culture. the phrase “transitioning to sleep with…” is pervasive in transphobic narratives and it’s just not the best thing to lead with. once again i’m so sorry for what you went through
