my cousin died at six flags when the haunted house burned down back in 1984. not once did they shut down the park or stop that day. they even went to charge full ticket price when my inlaws went to find him the next day. six flags is a horrible company.

There is no evidence Christopher Hawley had any pre-existing health condition; (as some are saying) he was described as a healthy 22-year-old. I also can’t find any credible report that he rode X2 more than once that day. (I’ve seen that being said too) And this wasn’t an isolated incident—Six Flags’ own records reportedly showed at least 70 head and neck injury complaints involving X2 in just the 3 years before his death, and multiple other riders have suffered serious brain injuries.

wtf? How? I’ve been on that ride so many times, and I’m sure thousands of people a day. Did he let his head just slam around? That’s not the rides fault if everyone else on the ride was fine

Two women also sustained brain injuries on their ride last month. 1 is in a coma and both had to have a brain surgery… also heard that tons of people have gone to the hospital after riding X2

This should be a homicide case against the parents. If he had preexisting conditions and his parents let him ride that it’s neglect. And if the person is an adult, he should know better.

It’s a wild world we live in to where now it’s the rides fault and is shut down even though this is the only person it happened to. Unfortunately weird things happen and it’s not fair. So what? Now we have to get rid of roller coasters?!? Very unfortunate but not 6 flags fault.
