honestly I have no problem with things being cheaper for locals, for example if I lived a small fuck ass town in the middle of the mountains in Colorado, and they wanted to add a ski resort, my default thought is he'll no, it's going to price me out of the area, BUT if they only had their ski resort prices for tourists and locals got things cheaper, it means I get to enjoy growth and better facilities without being priced out

i mean... its like a tourist tax, specifically for tourists who don't learn the culture or the language, whats the problem? even here in spain if you go to like Girona or Lleida they will charge you 3 for a beer if you order it in catalan, 4 if in spanish, 6 in english

Costa Rica sold in both colones and usd, however, they adjusted it. Example would be shampoo would be $4 usd (not a weird price for Americans) or $500 colenes (which was about 90 cents)

Ya’ll should realize that the symbol for dollar and peso are the same $$$. So in that picture the price difference is 5 cents American. That must be an old old sign bc no one is going to charge 25 or 20 cents for juice
