I’m beggingggg for people to also recognize Nebet-het, or Nepthys!!! SHE is the sacred dark feminine to isis’ light feminine. Nepthys is actually the goddess of mummification and presided over Osiris’ funerary rites with Isis, Nepthys at the head and Isis at the feet. This is explained in “the lamentation of Isis and Nepthys”. Nepthys did not betray her sister, they worked together to get Nepthys pregnant. She then gave birth to Anubis!!! She is the goddess of the liminal space, she holds the frequency of transition and change. If isis is the outer actions, birth, and creation, Nepthys is your inner psyche, the hidden, the liminal, the shadow, and transition and resurrection. You can’t have one without the other. Nepthys left her husband Set after he killed Osiris and helped her sister gather all the parts. They always worked together but I believe the patriarchy erased Nepthys on purpose so you would not recognize and integrate your own shadow and the hidden parts of yourself, making you whole, sovereign, and ungovernable.

Seth killed Osiris because he wanted payback for not getting enough credit for helping Ra and for people who don’t know, Seth isn’t evil. But I agree with Isis you don’t need a Tempel.

I went to the temple of Isis and it was amazing! the variation of the story they told us was that Osiris hid of Agricultural (yes brother to Isis but also husband ) cheated on Isis with Sets wife Nepthys, because she transformed to look like Isis because she wanted Osiris. Set was the god of war and violence and always second to Osiris. When Isis found out SHE killed him, chopped him up and scattered his body all around the world. But then all the crops started to die and her sister begged for her forgiveness. So Isis and her sister collected all the body parts (except his 🍆 out of spite ) and brought him to Geb (the highest god ) to resurrect. But he needed ALL the body parts , so they had to go to the bottom of the ocean to fetch it (it had been eaten by a fish 😭🤣) and when they brought it back Osiris was resurrected(adding that to his title ) - but the brother had no idea this happened and was in the middle of throwing a party to call himself the new top god. When he Osiris showed up to the party and called everything out! And tbh I forget what happened after 🤣😭 BUT ISIS is such an amazing goddess ! So powerful
