@v8rolll: Top Gear's funniest moments almost all came from something going badly wrong on camera. That formula turned a motoring show into the most watched factual programme in the world. 😂📺🏁 The Clarkson, Hammond and May era ran from 2003 to 2015, ending when the BBC did not renew Clarkson's contract after he attacked a producer. All three left the show and reunited on Amazon's The Grand Tour. At its peak Top Gear was watched by an estimated 350 million people across more than 200 territories. The BBC rested the UK series in November 2023 after Freddie Flintoff's crash at Dunsfold, so the archive is now doing all the heavy lifting.
