I'm convinced it's just all about control and seeing how much a person will bend and break for you. Avoidants are actually worse than narcs in my opinion. Been with both. They'll starve you for all and any type of human connection and yet they'll continue the cycle of love bombing and mirrored connection in the beginning then bam, cold as ice. At what point will a grown ass adult abmit then need to fix what's broken and stop breaking others. So selfish.
