hot take but ETA in this one. op can't let go of the past and refuses to confront her bully herself, Sadie is still and asshole, Richard is an even bigger asshole, MIL just doesn't sound like a nice person outside of being a mom, and the bf is just kinda there, unwilling to actually pick a side. I agree with MIL that OP will have hard time if she can't let go of the past, and an even harder one if she refuses to grow a spine and confront it, either in therapy or face to face with Sadie
