If I could talk to 2006 me… man that’s heavy. I had just graduated high school, was forced out of the closet by southern Baptist parents and subsequently kicked out of my childhood home because I refused to be who they wanted me to be. If I could talk to me from that time, she would be amazed how far we’ve came! ♥️

she wouldn't have been able to keep going if she knew the entirety of the future but if I could go back and hold her I would. time to set these suitcases down it's time to burn the shoe boxes and feel it all release it all with the most amount of love I let go. you did your best baby and that's all you could have ever done is just get back up ❤️

I had my first child in 2006 and now In 2026 I have 4 total and lost one.. I’m still with my partner we have been together for 21 years and married 17.. I cut contact with my family about 6 years ago.. my nephew took his own life 3 years ago.. life was so much more peaceful back in 2006.. it was the calm before my storm..
