I despise parents who put down childfree people and childfree people who put down parents to justify their own choices, in equal measure. I think anybody who feels they have to diminish someone’s life choices in order to validate their own choices, is somewhat living a lie tbh.

Anyone who applies the word selfish to choices women (let’s face it, it rarely happens to men) make for themselves is kind of ridiculous. It also ironically, I think, comes from a space of feeling judged for their choices. I have kids, I don’t like any of the extreme talking points on either side of this frankly unnecessary debate. Let women control their own lives.
