I’m having an unplugged ceremony and I’m gonna pay one of my guests to go around and snatch the phone of whoever isn’t listening and have them escorted off the premises and then they’ll get their phone back 😂 nobody is posting my wedding before I get edited photos back.

Why do yall care what other people do at THEIR wedding?? 🤣🤣 How is this weird or affecting anyone in any way . Wedding photographers are HUNDREDS of dollars and I refuse to have cellphones all in my pictures

On the RSVP id have a part that says "By responding yes, I and everyone in my party agrees to keep our phones away. If a phone is seen it will be taken by the phone police and put in the phone jail till the end of the ceremony. The phone jail will be monitored in case of emergency."

I wish back in 2002 we had cellphones. As photographers do amazing and so much. However I’ve seen pictures from guest that are wow!! I say if they are being considered and not posting to the bride or groom. You may find pictures that others missed

I did this. Only my step grandma took pictures. Not even my own mother. But it was a small wedding & several people who RSVP'd yes didn't show up. But still, my own mother didn't even bother. I shouldn't be too surprised. She's a narcissist who hates me & was angry she didn't have a say in my wedding

I am a professional wedding officiant and I do this towards the end and combine it with a bit when I tell the couple to turn and face their guests and take in the moment.

for the people who say "they don't listen if you tell them not to" why are you associating with people who don't care about your requests enough to respect them on one of the most important events of your life? anyone you think wouldn't respect you and your rules at YOUR wedding shouldn't be included/invited to celebrate you.
