I feel like this message was meant for me to see and understand her perspective despite any hurt I may feel. my ex and I broke up in june due to her unhealed trauma from her past relationship that lasted 5 years but was on and off and toxic. I was her first healthy relationship and she always felt she wasn’t good for me because she felt her ex made her avoidant and kind of stripped away who she use to be and she always felt guilty that she wasn’t doing much or doing more like she knew she did for her ex and people who didn’t deserve it. she did start therapy because she said she didn’t want to live her life that way and wanted to be better for me. she tried breaking up with me before because she felt bad that she was bringing something into our relationship that I didn’t deserve but she felt that would be self sabotage . she was always aware of her issues but didn’t truly know how to fix it and always told me she wanted me to let her go and allow her to come back “when she’s better” . we’ve been in no contact since june and I removed her as a follower back in june but then she completely went off the grid and deactivated her instagram and she ended up blocking me on tiktok and then privated her pinterest which is an app she knows I love and I think she either deactivated her twitter or blocked me even though we never followed each other on that app but I have seen the tweets she would repost . I think she’s aware her mind and the version of herself rn isn’t healthy and she doesn’t want me to see it. which she has communicated before. I think she’s in isolation mode or maybe her therapist told her to kind of go off grid from socials to stop her from pouring out her emotions and thoughts towards her toxic ex or the past version of herself she could be grieving. I understand her pain from her ex and knowing her ex treated her terribly and quickly moved on as if she was nothing or that the 5 years they shared meant nothing. I think my hurt comes from the post I’ve seen because to me it makes me feel she was yearning for her ex or wanting to return back to her ex while with me and that’s where my resentment comes from.

yeah, this resonates 1000%. i can tell they’re hesitant to talk but wants to, and I was just thinking about how we need to truly understand eachother in order to move forward. so right now I’m giving them space so that we can both process what went down between us and come to eachother with a clear mind & open hearts
