they were so worried of my getting diabetes and preeclampsia during my 2nd pregnancy because I was obese. and when I only gained 20lbs the entire pregnancy they were livid because my bmi aas now over 40. they mad me do stress tests every week. my pregnancy was extremely healthy btw. meanwhile my first pregnancy they ignored all the warning signs because either was skinny. I gained 100lbs in the last trimester and got preeclampsia. im literally fat due to my first pregnancy and their negligence

That doesn’t belong on his autopsy. That’s incredibly insensitive too. Why write that? Hospitals & doctors go into protective mode trying to cover their 🍑’s vs really trying to figure out the medical cause of a loss. If they can write something that blames us they will so they can shift blame & avoid a lawsuit. Of course the sad truth is we can’t even sue in most states bc stillborn babies don’t have rights. 😮💨 It’s all very cruel & unfair. Pls don’t blame yourself.

Mind you, they weigh you during pregnancy with a whole human child inside of you, so OBVIOUSLY our weight will be higher 🙄 BMI is such a dumb thing to use during pregnancy because it isn’t accurate

They wrote that to bully you in the end there's no evidence that is a cause obese women deliver children everyday if it was a possible cause there be more deaths... Reality is they should've written unable to determine or natural causes cause if you can't find a direct cause of it you can just relate it to something without real evidence.

when i found out my stillbirth was likely caused by my blood pressure I watched my blood pressure like a hawk and kept blaming my weight also. so I tried every fad diet to lose weight

Medical records aren't there to make you feel good. They need to document all risk factors and obesity is a risk factor.
