Its headquarters is Karim Lamido town, and the 2006 census recorded 193,924 people. To put its size into perspective, Karim Lamido is larger than Lagos, Ekiti, Abia, Ebonyi and Imo States individually. 🤯🌍 The LGA is home to diverse communities, including the Karimjo, Jenjo, Munga, Bambuka, Dadiya, Bandawa and Wurkun people. Agriculture, fishing and livestock rearing are major activities, with rice, yam, cassava, maize, groundnuts, millet and other crops cultivated across the LGA. 🌾🎣🐄 Some notable towns and communities include Karim Lamido, Bambur, Muri, Jen, Didango, Mutum Daya, Gomu, Andami and Munga Dosso.
