At this point, airports should have donation boxes or a secure drop-off box where you can leave items behind and have them shipped back to you for a small fee if you need to make extra space in your luggage.

Do people not weigh their luggages before leaving the house/hotel? And you can pay for the excess weight. I travel all the time often would have over 10kg excess, never needed to get rid of any items.

I work at an airport and lemme tell you the amount of people needing to repack is crazy. Dont feel embarrassed like the staff is used to it and the other travellers in their own heads. I check in atleast 20 people on a daily that need to rearrange

i punya lah anxious before any international flight, seminggu sblum trip, dah siap packing, dah siap timbang semua. even before check-in pun, timbang lagi sbb takut mcm ni. luggage scale tu sentiasa ada dlm beg

pernah bongkar koper di bandara sampai pakian dalam gue berhamburan, gue gak peduli lagi wkwkwk terus gue pake wrap, bawa di tangan soalnya gak mau rugi dan emang kere juga sih 😭🤣
