Hello everyone! I’m back with a new update on my custom cluster project for the Mercedes W211. For those who haven’t been following from the beginning, I’m building a fully custom digital display from scratch that integrates into the car’s original dashboard. So far, I’ve developed several interfaces, including the AMG gauge cluster, the infotainment menu, and various vehicle information screens. I’ve also added a startup animation, gear indicator, driving mode display, turbo and torque values, as well as smooth transitions between different layouts. At the moment, the interface is still in a testing phase, and the values shown are purely demonstrative. The next step is full integration with the car’s CAN system, so that all data can be read and displayed in real time. This is a project I’m building entirely on my own, from programming and UI design to the physical integration into the dashboard. There are still many details to refine, but it’s slowly getting closer to what I originally envisioned.
