He would not get charged with murder murder is thought out and planned. If he’s still unlucky, he might get manslaughter, but considering there were multiple people ganging up and jumping him so multiple people against one person absolutely a gun could be justifiable in self-defense if it was just one on one, that’s one thing, but it wasn’t.

Self defense. Multiple punches to the head can be fatal, hes in his own domicile, he was outnumbered and didn’t know when they would stop. Could’ve easily ended I. His death if he didn’t shoot.
