For me, it should start from home. it's the parents. Because until their child started schooling. They are with the child the whole time. Therefore the parents should start teaching them how to read by reading to them. And from there they can start teaching them the alphabet and their sounds. And that is the basic step to reading. The child begins to read the letters and their sounds and be able to begin reading with 2 letters, then 3, 4, 5 unti they can already read words. And so by the time they are ready for school. They already able to read letters and words. Because they were already trained how to read at an early age.

nung elementary kasi may reading comprehension test eh, yung isa isa kaming tatawagin ng teacher tapos pababasahin kami ng kwento at magtatanong about sa kwento😂 may spelling booklet pa, may formal theme pa na english at filipino.

Paiba iba kasi ang curriculum pag nag bago ng deped sec babaguhin na naman ang curriculum unlike dati na stick lang sa isang curriculum and also dapat nag babagsak pa rin lalo na pag wala naman talagang alam. ngayon kasi bawal na mag bagsak kesihudang di pa yang mag abakada kahit grade six na ipapasa at ipapasa yan basta pumapasok.

ang PARENTS talaga yung problema hahaha especially yung mga newer parents na nagrrely lang sa mga gadgets para matahimikin yung mga anak nila sa sulok, imbes na sila yung maunang turuan yung mga anak nilang magbasa, magsulat, magsalita pero hindi eh, mas nauunang bilhan ng iPad lol

Nasa magulang na din yan. D2 sa brgy namin my public school mag hapon ang pasok, ayw ng mga kapitbahay namin kc mghapon gusto nila sa ibang school half day lng ang pasok. Pano mo hahatiin ang 8-10 subject sa half day. ✌️✌️✌️

Share ko lang, may kilala ko na gusto sana gawing thesis ang changing curriculum ng DepEd. According to him, in his 4 years of service daw kasi sa DepEd, naka 4 na palit din ng curriculum, so imbes na nakafocus ang teachers sa teaching, natatake pa ng time ang seminar, adaptation at consistent testing ng approach. Unfortunately, hindi naapprove yung thesis kasi laban daw yon sa administrasyon, may mababangga daw?! like girl?! kung politiko man, sino sya para hindi banggain??
