you should try OctoEverywhere ai detection for bambu lab printers that don’t have ai detection. it does requires a rasberry pi and a webcam though.

It only happens with Bambu labs this is why I have a flashforge creator 5 and an adventure 5m way better than Bambu labs

it shouldve detected the issue as soon as the print head front cover came off. probably has a bad sensor. I've had mine momentarily come off a bit because of a backed up purge chute and it paused. I had to physically remove the face off the magnets and place back on again for the sensor to reset (and clear the chute as well) . probably a bad sensor

I own a Creality and nothing like this has ever happened to me. It always stops at the first sign of trouble to prevent these problems, although I've always wanted to buy a Bambulab, I think I'll put that dream on hold for now.
