@bridediaries: Rain doesn’t create bad photos - but fear of the rain does! I know how disheartening it can be to see rain forecast for your wedding day. But if I could give any advice to any couples stressed out about this, it’s EMBRACE IT. Some of the most jaw droppingly romantic photos are taken in the rain. Yes - your dress might get a bit muddy, you want to preserve that hair and makeup you invested in, I totally get that. But when you have a situation completely out of your hands then I promise you, smiling and laughing through it is the only way to go. Zoe and Danny got married in the Lake District back in 2024 and after their gloriously sunny ceremony, the heavens opened. But truly, it was one of my favourite parts of their day. It made for stunning photos and content and Zoe embraced it and smiled and laughed through every season. So if you are forecast rain on your wedding day, take this as a sign to fully embrace it and get those romantic ‘in the rain’ shots. It’s so worth it! And not everyone gets that opportunity 😉
