@welshfoodfairy: @HILLS in Brecon is well known for its burgers… but did you know they now have a coffee shop too? 👀☕️ Tucked away to the side of the burger restaurant, you’ll find a calm little haven that’s perfect for brunch, coffee and a bit of time out. It’s been beautifully refurbished, with a relaxed aesthetic and views stretching across the Brecon countryside and mountains. 🏔️ They serve Hard Lines Coffee and, honestly, one of the best iced vanilla matchas I’ve had in a while. 💚 Everything we tried was just so good, and you could really tell there had been thought put into every ingredient and finishing touch. For me, a full breakfast has to be a little bit extra to impress… and this definitely did. Proper butcher’s sausages, thick-cut bacon, the crunchiest little potato hash browns, hand-cut thick sourdough toast and perfectly cooked eggs. 🍳 The bacon roll was equally as good, with that lovely crisp outer roll and soft, fluffy inside. And then there was the yoghurt bowl with fresh berries and granola — simple, fresh and beautifully presented. 🍓 This is exactly the kind of place I love discovering. Somewhere you can slow down, enjoy a really good brunch, sip on a great coffee (or matcha!) and just take in the landscape around you.
