i’m always interested how much coffee people drink per day because apparently we drink WAY more than average hahaha you’ll need: - 1 egg - 50ml any milk (i use whole) - 1 shot espresso (or 1tsp instant coffee, dissolved) - 1tsp vanilla extract - 1tbsp maple syrup - 1 thick slice white bread (or brioche!) - 1tbsp butter (to serve): - full fat greek yogurt / crème fraiche - raw cocoa to dust method: 1. begin by whisking the egg, milk, espresso, vanilla extract and maple syrup in a shallow / wide bowl until thoroughly combined. 2. melt the butter in a small pan on a medium heat. 3. meanwhile, submerge the slice of bread into the egg mixture and flip over a few times to ensure the bread is fully soaked (but not soggy!). 4. place the slice of bread onto the pan and leave the fry for a few minutes in the butter until dark & golden on one side. 5. carefully flip over and fry for another few minutes until both sides are dark & golden and slightly crispy. 6. serve whilst warm, with a generous dollop of greek yogurt / crème fraiche. 7. dust generously with cocoa and finish with a drizzle of honey if you like the extra sweetness! enjoy xxx☕️ #EasyRecipes #yogurt #frenchtoast #toast #tiramisu
