My Mama also had stage 4 cancer. I’m proudly saying that she raised my Ate and me all by herself and never depended on our father. She was incredibly strong. She passed away in the hospital around 2 AM, and it was just the two of us in the room. I was working on my laptop right beside her bed. When I woke up, she asked me to help her poop in her diaper, but I told her to wait because I was logging in for work. She said okay, turned to her left side, looked at me, and smiled. I never knew that would be the last time she looked at me. About five minutes later, after I told her to adjust her position, I noticed she wasn’t moving anymore and wasn’t holding the mini fan I gave her. I didn’t even feel like crying at that moment. I just hugged her tightly and told her how much I loved her. After that, I called the nurse, and then I called my Ate to tell her what happened. Aug 22, 2026
