@sirisperspective: I have just been on a journey of a lifetime, and here are the four strongest arguments for why you should embark on the same journey. I’ve just walked 900 kilometers across the northern part of Spain on the Camino Frances and the Camino from Santiago de Compostela to Finisterre. It has been such a great adventure for me, and here are four takeaways and four good reasons for why you might want to consider it too. Number one: you need very little to have a good life, and that realization carries so much freedom in itself that just having that experience on a journey like the Camino is going to change your perspective on life. Secondly, when you meet people on a journey where everyone’s kind of in it for some reason, you meet people you can connect with in a very deep way, in a much deeper way than you would back at home. People are open, people are generous, people are ready to make connections, and you can feel it when you meet them, and there is so much love in these people. Number three: walking 900 kilometers may sound like a bunch of walking and sound like a very physical challenge, and for some people, yes, it might be. But walking 20 to 30 kilometers every day is absolutely doable for most people, and you will get so strong during the Camino that on day 25, 30, you will feel like you can take on the entire world. And last but not least, the Camino can absolutely change your life. I’ve seen it so many times on the Camino with almost all the people that I’ve met and had a connection with. I’ve seen the transformation. I’ve seen the literal physical appearance of people changing throughout the journey, and it is magical to watch. It is magical to be a part of. I’ve had my own changes in this, and it is simply amazing. So don’t think about it; just do it. It’s going to give your life such a change in perspective, a feeling of fulfillment and purpose, and it’s going to be a brilliant adventure. So if you’re thinking about it, stop thinking about it; just do it. #caminodesantiago #justdoit #alwayskeepwalking #caminofrances

We recorded a documentary under harsh conditions in Greenland. Got told, which I agreed after that, that best teams consist of good people. Forget about leadership, organisational or management skills. It’s all about getting alone with people who will sometimes lead, some other let go and who read each other humbly

I did it last time in 1998, a long time ago. I think then was better. Anyway what you feel is what anyone feels in your conditions, 1st walk a long, it’s absolutely different the experience I know by my own, and 2nd, to do it all since the border close to France to Finisterre. You have brought to me some memories. I’m here if you need to talk.

Something is really wrong when people need to do the camino to realize how simple & nice life can be without all the materialistic crap world be live in.
