Most people would think that this means to help yourself. A lot of people will put boxes and coolers out for delivery drivers to give them treats and for thanking them. I’ve never heard of anybody selling food from a cooler on their front porch, and then acting the way this couple has, especially her husband, if somebody makes a mistake. If I lived next-door to these people I wouldn’t buy from them anymore after the way that they treated this guy even after he apologized and paid for it.

They have doubled down and turned comments off. They have ruined their own business! I keep saying that the social part of this isn’t social any more. People have forgotten what kindness is about.

For someone who needs to make probably hundreds of deliveries a day, a big sign saying TREAT YOURSELF is clearly misleading! The “menu” on top also looks like a diagram instead. They IMMEDIATELY rectified this, claiming responsibility AND paying - what the bakery SHOULD HAVE DONE, is post that they are not free, but out of appreciation for their delivery drivers, that one was on them - with love.

I’m so glad I treat my Amazon driver with respect! They are out in the heat all day long delivering your packages! A 4 dollar cake pop is not that serious! Last weekend an Amazon driver stopped by my mini bakery, she asked for one cake pop but she looked so hot and tired so I gave her two and a free donut just to cheer her up! We are in Texas, it’s 104 degrees outside everyday! I used to work for Amazon they treat the drivers like crap, please be kind to people!

This is my response to everyone who disagrees with my comment about starting a GoFundMe for the Amazon driver.The point isn’t that he’s entitled to one. People simply felt bad for him after seeing how he was treated and publicly embarrassed over a misunderstanding. If people WANT to help him, they’re free to donate. Nobody is forcing anyone to contribute. It costs you $0 to mind your own business and let people show kindness.
