As a father, I know what Jim did was the stupidest thing ever. He sacrificed himself to save his son, but him dying lowers his families chance of survival. I understand it’s a movie. I understand in the end the family was ok, but to any man out there, don’t do it. I understand the instinct to save 1 child, but doing so puts the rest of your family at risk.
