Their homes are flooded parang satin kaya they're showing themselves. They aren't out there actively hunting humans, you can literally see it struggling to find a safe space to hide in. You can report it to the barangay when the flood subsides so they can rescue and surrender to DENR. Local reticulated pythons are protected by law.

Fortunately, it doesn't look like the venomous type. Those venomous types usually aren't this big. Unfortunately, this type strangles its prey before consuming. So your pets, poultry(and the like), and small children should be in a safe place when you spot this snake in the flood. Also unfortunately, this snake's home was also flooded and is probably looking for another place to nest in, probably somewhere cool and nearby a food source. So if you have chickens/roosters coop nearby, double check.

Friendly reminder po sa mga iba lalo ngayong baha, sana po pag may mga ahas tayong makita sa baha wag po nating patayin lalo na hindi naman venomous. Mundo at habitat po rin nila to nakiki share lang tayo. Wala pong kinalaman sa video hindi ko po sinasabing pinatay nila yung ahas ha! Yun lang. ingat ang lahat!
