My hot take is that Luke loved the idea of Lorelai, not Lorelai. The minute it got a bit too serious he was terrible to her. I get that finding out you have a kid is life changing but he seriously had no backbone at all with Anna.

My thoughts. Luke should’ve told Lorelei about April I understand why he did it and he needed to process everything but he could’ve processed it while talking to her about it. Also, I understand where Lorelei is coming from but Luke has watched her back-and-forth date all these people and he has waited for her. I feel like she could’ve given him some grace and waited for him just a little bit. I also believe they made Lorelei sleep with Chris as a nope this is the end. I don’t like the she marries Christopher part of it makes no sense. He’s not a good father and was never really there for Lorelei. He would just come into town sleep with her. I mess everything up, hurt her feelings and then dip. He never really cared about Rory. He just wanted to mess around with Lorelai.
