Ludlow, Ludlow, Ludlow. Park off the Market Square. Shop in the market. Go to the castle. Go to the cafe by Dinham Bridge. Cross the bridge and walk alongside the river and up onto Whitcliffe Common. Look for the Civil War trenches * and book a table for tea at the Charlton Arms.

Bewdley is nice too, also there is a nice hidden pub on the train station platform in bridgnorth, you can sit on the platform with a drink and watch the old trains come in

Almost didn't recognise you without your car! 😉 Come to Cheshire. Lots of dairy farms selling their homemade ice cream, and for pretty towns, Chester would be hard to beat, with roman remains and a medieval town centre.

Oh my god if you want a nice place to visit in Shropshire you definitely need to visit a place called donnington in Telford. They have a lovely beach there
